About NeuroFlow
Dedicated to empowering neurodiverse high school students on the ADHD/ASD spectrum by providing tools and resources for executive and social functioning.
Our Mission
NeuroFlow is designed to be a supportive online environment for high school students with ADHD and/or ASD. Our primary goal is to help these students manage stress, improve focus, and navigate the complexities of academic and social life. We aim to provide informative content and interactive tools that are engaging, accommodating, and tailored to their unique needs.
We believe in embracing neurodiversity and providing students with the resources they need to not just cope, but to thrive. This project is born out of a desire to create a space where students feel understood and equipped to tackle challenges like time management, sensory overload, and social interactions.
Our Story
NeuroFlow was created by a passionate group of high schoolers as part of the 2024 Stanford Neurodiversity Project - Research, Education, and Advocacy Camp for High Schoolers (SNP-REACH). Inspired by the principles of design thinking—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—we set out to address the challenges faced by neurodiverse students in managing stress and focus.
Our journey involved understanding the perspectives of students on the ADHD/ASD spectrum, defining the core problems they face, brainstorming innovative solutions, and developing a prototype website. We are committed to continuously improving NeuroFlow based on feedback and the evolving needs of our users.
The project's vision is to extend beyond a camp project into a functional, publicly accessible resource that makes a real difference in students' lives.
